JOYDENS WOOD
Dartford Road Runners run a Midweek Summer series in Joydens Wood of
Summerhouse Drive. These Races are held on the last Wednesdays of June,
July and August. It is a measured course and has a limit of 150 runners.
Please note there is no onsite parking in order to preserve the woods, please park in Summerhouse drive and surrounding roads but please be considerate to local residents whilst doing so. These races cannot be held without the support of the Woodlands Trust who
control the woods and we give a donation from the race entries to them for their continued upkeep of the woods.
The race takes part on trails within the woods and is a challenging course for everyone. Races start at 7-15pm sharp.
Car sharing, wherever possible, will help to reduce the impact we have on the area on the evening of each race.
There will also be a manned bike area by race registration.
